Refurbished Projector
What many people used to do with their old things, I remember as clear as day, was to donate them. I, by no stretch of the imagination, grew up in a “rich” household. And still, in anticipation of the gifts from the holiday season, my mother would always make my brother and I pore over all our accumulated “stuff” from the year just past and decide what we didn’t want, what didn’t fit us anymore, what we just generally didn’t use. Happy as clams, we’d do this and take a ride over to the Salvation Army who would gladly take all these things we just had no use for anymore. It was always one of those things which filled me with a great deal of pride. Then along came the internet. Hey I’m not anti-computer either, by any stretch. Computers are how I make my living. I am, though, amazed by the useless transfer of this miscellaneous garbage in places like these auction sites or chat rooms; clogging up, not only the information superhighway, but also the USPS as we all dally back and forth in hope of the highest bidder. So it’s with that lackluster introduction that we reach the refurbished projector. Refurbished projectors take many forms and are in a whole lot more places than you’d think. For the average Joe or Jane who may never even consider a projector as a piece of equipment they’d ever use, need, or in any case, buy them, the refurbished projector may seem like a cute trinket. Something that old Grandpa might find amazing. But the refurbished projector market is booming with products available all over the internet. One of the considerably more expensive model refurbished projector model I found was American Optical opaque projectors. Designed from the 1960’s to mid 1970’s the American optical company then changed hands and was sold by Neumade. Neumade actually continues to manufacturer identical units using believe it or not the same parts as the American Optical units. But who needs these besides a museum? Cheap refurbished projectors are available with a quick online search. If you’re in need of the really cheap refurbished projector you should hold out on an auction site; you may even need to do a considerable amount of trolling online to find the exact price on the correct model refurbished projector you’re looking for.
